Whether you're recovering from an injury, expecting a baby, or raising a family, What's Next Chiropractic gives you a clear path forward. Find the Right Care for You

Two Doctors, Two Specialties, One Clear Next Step

Every patient who walks through our door in Waterloo gets matched to the doctor whose focus fits their body and their goals. That starts with a simple choice: are you here for pain, performance, and mobility, or for pregnancy, pediatric, and nervous-system care?

Pain Relief, Sports, and Movement

Dr. Jared works with active adults and athletes who want to move without pain, whether that's from an old injury, a sports demand, or years of sitting at a desk. His approach is hands-on, direct, and focused on getting you back to what you love doing.

Pregnancy, Pediatric, and Nervous System Care

Dr. Kailey works with expecting mothers, infants, children, and women looking for gentler, nervous-system-informed care. Her approach includes Webster Technique certification for pregnancy and instrument-based adjusting built for the smallest patients.

A New Kind of Chiropractic Practice for Waterloo and the Cedar Valley

Objective Answers, Not Guesswork

What's Next Chiropractic opened in Waterloo in January 2026 with a simple idea: chiropractic care should be measurable, not just felt. Dr. Kailey is one of only two providers in the Cedar Valley using objective nervous-system scanning, surface EMG, thermal imaging, and HRV (Heart Rate Variability) readings, to show you what's actually happening in your body before any care plan begins.

We see families from Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Evansdale, Hudson, and Waverly who want a practice that treats the whole household, from a new baby's first adjustment to a weekend athlete's third ache this year. Two specialties, one practice, no need to choose between family chiropractic and movement-based care.

What Waterloo Families Ask Before Their First Visit

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What makes your practice different from other Cedar Valley chiropractors?

We combine two distinct specialties, movement-based rehab and neurologically-focused family care, under one roof. Dr. Kailey is also one of only two providers in the Cedar Valley offering objective nervous-system scanning. Most practices in this market pick one lane; we built ours around covering both.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We are currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) PPO, Medicare, and Aetna. We are happy to check your specific benefits before you begin care.

At What’s Next Chiropractic, we also believe care should be simple and accessible. For patients who are out-of-network or prefer not to use insurance, we offer straightforward, affordable cash pricing options.

Our goal is to make high-quality chiropractic care accessible to individuals and families in our community — with clear pricing and no surprises.

If you have questions about your coverage, we’re always happy to help guide you through it!

  • What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit starts with a conversation about your history and goals, followed by an exam suited to your specific concern. Depending on which doctor you see, that may include movement assessment or nervous-system scanning. From there, we'll walk you through what we found and what care, if any, we recommend.

  • How long are appointments?

The initial appointment will be between 45-60 minutes long.

Following this, appointments with Dr. Jared will be 30 minutes.

Appointments with Dr. Kailey will be 5-10 minutes.

  • How much will each adjustment cost?

Every person and every case is different. We will not know how much it will cost until Dr. Jared and Dr. Kailey have a chance to evaluate your findings, history and determine what care you will need. It is important for us to keep care affordable.
